Sit down with a warm muffin, sticky bun or one of our daily specials. We offer sandwiches daily from our cooler for lunch on the go. Or treat yourself to our homemade soups served Wednesday, Friday and Saturday.
Daily specials include ham salad; chicken salad; turkey, swiss & pesto all on fresh Borealis Bread. If you need to satisfy a sweet tooth, try a mouth-watering 7 layer bar or white chocolate cookie with macadamia nuts.
Now that you've satisfied your stomach, you can browse and enjoy some works by talented Maine artists. New to The Niblic this year is the fun, festive pottery from Kaitlyn Duggan who resides on Little Cranberry Island, beautiful hand blown glass jewelry from the talented Linda Perrin of Atlantic Art Glass, the functional 'green' Downeast Door Mats from the Maine Float Rope Company, and more!
We are also honored to continue to carry many island crafted works such as Miller Designs jewelry, David Scrace's wood turned bowls and gifts, Linda Carlton & Sandra Rice's watercolors, Pommy Hatfield's hand loomed rugs and Linda Ewing's stained glass works. Also new this year are Allyson Smith's Seaside Creations and Round House Jewelry.
If the weather isn't cooperating and you find yourself in need of something more to wear, we have four new clothing designs, and we've brought back the 'vintage gull' sweatshirt from the 70's. There is definitely something for everyone including the kids with a whole new line of toys including children's books.
